This site is a staging environment for Scott Beal’s website review. Please use test details while reviewing forms.

Information you submit

The inquiry form saves your name, email, selected topic and message in the staging CRM. A Velvet Club signup saves your first name, email, optional interests and your consent choice and time. An inquiry does not subscribe you to email.

Spam checks and storage

Submissions are checked by CleanTalk using the submitted details, IP address and browser signals. Accepted records are stored in the site’s existing Supabase backend in separate staging tables. DigitalOcean hosts this proposed site. Only existing authorized site administrators can view the CRM.

Email and preferences

Confirmation, welcome and inquiry notifications are held for review. They are not sent from staging. Signed confirmation and preference links let reviewers test confirmation, interest changes and unsubscribe behavior. Staging signup is not enrollment in a live mailing campaign.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off until you allow it. If allowed, this site records page visits, audience-path choices and clicks to the book on Amazon in its own staging report. With form consent, it also records accepted inquiries and confirmed signups. Analytics events exclude names, email addresses and message text. Limited campaign fields and page context may accompany a consented inquiry. Google Analytics on the current live site is separate and receives no staging events.

You can decline or change your choice through Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page. Declining stops future optional capture and clears the local journey record. Your preference is saved in this browser; no advertising cookies are set by this staging implementation.

Review records

Staging records remain available to authorized administrators for review and verification. Ask Brian or use the inquiry form to request correction or removal of a review record. The public-launch policy and retention schedule will be reviewed before the proposed site replaces the current site.
